No it is still on acknowledged i do not know why somi can’t explain it.

  • On Edublog #1 you were asked to predict whether or not SeeClickFix would fix the problem you reported.  Did you find that your prediction came true?  Explain your answer.

SeeClickFix Edublog #2

  • What did you learn about the status of the issue you reported to SeeClickFix?

What i learned about the issue i reported to seeclickfix is that currently it costs about 435 million dollars just to go and pavement the damaged ground to balance the streets.

  • Describe the response you got about the issue you reported.  What was the message you received?  Who sent you that message?

City of oakland call center responded to me by saying

“Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for contacting the Oakland Call Center, but additional information will be needed before your service request can be processed.” Even though i put the right address.

  • Describe how the 9th grade students are tracking the progress of the issue we reported using stickies and posters.  What do each posters mean?
  • Open = your issue has been reported.
  • Acknowledged = Your issue is being worked on.
  • Closed = the issue you reported has been done thank you for your patience.
  • Did you change the status of the issue you reported on a poster?  Explain why, or why not.

Yes i did change the status of my issue on the poster. I changed it b/c it was on open which means it was just sent and they will look at it and respond back and will it changed to acknowledged which means your issue is being worked on.

  • Did any patterns emerge on the poster about which issues are resolved, and which are not?  Explain your answer.

Um i don’t think so because all they had told me is your issue needs a little more information but it doesn’t make since how it’s on acknowledged b/c they said it doesn’t give the right address.

  • Do you think 9th grade students are gaining agency based on their efforts on this project?  Explain your answer.

No to be honest they are not b/c we are just helping the community by making it look way better and also the seeclickfix website is just to report issues on what you don’t want in your community.

It helps resolve problems and they make it happen real quick.

No it is just a website to complain about stuff we do not want to see in oakland.

  • Explain the story of how you took your picture for the SEECLICKFIX project (Describe what you took a picture of, when you took it, where you were, how, and why).

So i took a picture of a dent on the street ground close to the sidewalk where cars park. I took the picture last thursday.

  • What did you do in class to join SEECLICKFIX?  Describe the steps you took.

  • Do you predict that the City of Oakland will fix the problem you reported?  Explain why, or why not.

Um yes i think so because when cars pass by it like drags them down and it misses up the springs that comes with the car and it is way to much money to repair it.
